THE WAILERS
Milwaukee Performance
It never ceases to amaze how the Wailers can put on a good concert without Bob Marley, but year after year they prove they can do just that.  While the loss of the lead singer who performed with the group at last year's big gig was certainly noticed, the new lead did a nice job.  As always, the pure skill of those on the instruments...
Dropkick Murphys LIVE
Review Review
Dropkick Murphys right away blew the crowd off their feet with a spectacle of both a wide range of music and with a stage presence unknown to me.  DKM always had close to four or five people on a microphone throughout most of the concert.  They also knew when to appropriately tune down their set list a play a more melodic, slower song.  During on of their last songs, one of the singers ran into the crowd to sing the lyrics rather than have people come up on stage.  However, the highlight of the whole concert was one of their encore songs.  Performing 'Shipping Up To Boston' off of the 'The Departed' soundtrack, DKM invited a fan on stage to rock out with them.  This was no ordinary fan... this fan had been holding up a prosthetic leg the whole concert and it only seemed fitting along the lyrics of "and I lost my wooden leg".  Overall, this concert was phenomenal, even for someone who had never been exposed to DKM live.  I give it a 5/5 easily!
